Designed in Australia, the EGM Audio Reference banana plug is exactly what a good banana plug should be – 99% copper! Rather than your typical banana plugs that contain a mixture of various base metals, EGM Audio’s Reference plug is simply constructed from high purity, highly conductive copper.

To ensure the purity we take the extra step and have random samples selected throughout each production run. We then send the samples to a local bullion dealer to be tested. (TAC Bullion) For complete transparency our batch testing samples are available to view online via QR code. This will ensure that you will always have the very best quality banana plug for your audiophile system and that you receive what you are paying for.

EGM Audio Reference banana plug is available in either rhodium and gold plating. Each banana plug has extra capacity to suit thicker cable and can be terminated with wire up to 5mm/ 10AWG and has 2x 2mm hex head grub screws to secure each cable. The banana plug uses a high tensile steel spring to give the right tension to fit almost all manufactures speaker terminals.

The Reference banana plugs are available nude (no sleeve) or with sleeves. The Reference banana sleeves are available in red or black non conducting anodised aluminium. This will add an extra layer of protection and they won’t short out if touched together.
