Terms & Conditions

Delivery Policy

Most items are shipped using Australia Post or TNT within 1 working day of payment.

Some circumstances may prevent an order from being processed on the same day; some orders will be held for verification. This may cause a slight delay in shipping your order to you. For more information on our shipping policies, including rates, please feel free to contact us on (08) 7130 0148 or at sales@hificollector.com.au.

Orders placed on Saturdays, Sundays, or holidays will normally be processed the next business day.

Please note our free shipping service is applicable for Australian residents only. Please contact us for international shipping rates at sales@hificollector.com.au.

Prices

Please be aware that prices are subject to modification at any time without prior notice, and we cannot guarantee their accuracy. In the event of a pricing discrepancy, we reserve the right to either offer a refund or provide a credit as a remedy.

Warranty

Second Hand Items

All second hand items are covered by a minimum of 3 months warranty (90 days), some items are covered by a longer warranty period which will be specified on the product listing page.

Within this period, we will, at our sole discretion, repair or replace any components that fail in normal use. Such repairs or replacement will be made at no charge to you for parts and/or labor, provided that you shall be responsible for any transportation charges. Replacement products may be new or refurbished at our discretion.

This warranty does not apply to: (i) cosmetic damage, such as scratches, nicks, stains and dents; (ii) consumable parts, such as batteries, unless product damage has occurred due to a defect in materials or workmanship; (iii) damage caused by accident, abuse, misuse, water (in excess of specifications), flood, fire, or other acts of nature or external causes; (iv) damage caused by service performed by anyone who is not an authorized service provider of HiFi Collector; or (v) damage to a product that has been modified or altered without the prior written permission of HiFi Collector.

HiFi Collector is not responsible for return freight charges incurred in the return of goods under warranty, unless the items are DOA (dead on arrival).

Brand New Items

All brand new products are covered under the manufacturer’s limited warranty, unless otherwise specified. The warranty period varies and is dependent on the manufacturer and product.

All items under warranty will be replaced or repaired by the manufacturer. Turnaround time for warranty claims largely depends on the manufacturer or the distributor. However we will do our utmost to speed up the process.

HiFi Collector is not responsible for return freight charges incurred in the return of goods under warranty, unless the items are DOA (dead on arrival).

B-Stock / Ex-Demo

B-Stock / Ex-Demo items may come with our 3 months (90 days) warranty or may indeed feature a full manufacturer’s limited warranty. The type of warranty length will be advertised in the product listing.

Returned Goods

HiFi Collector is committed to providing quality products and an exemplary level of service to our customers. We understand that you are human and may sometimes order the wrong item. We are human too and might have accidentally sent you the wrong item.

Any incorrect, missing or damaged items received must be reported to HiFi Collector within 24 hours of you receiving the delivery. ‘Dead on Arrival’ items will be eligible for a full refund or an instant replacement providing this is reported within 7 days of receiving the goods.

Goods that are not faulty can be returned and exchanged within 7 days of receipt. To exchange products, the goods must be returned in their original unopened packaging. Goods that have been opened will incur a re-stocking fee depending on their condition.

HiFi Collector will not cover the freight charges for returned goods unless we have accidentally sent the wrong item or the item is faulty. We are flexible and value your business. If you intend returning you goods for reasons other than Warranty claims, please contact us first by email at sales@hificollector.com.au.
